Mangalore, June 9, 2012: Advocate M Ashwin Kumar Rai, secretary of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee said that the Congress candidates like S P Dinesh and Hosur Ramesh Joyappa contesting for South West Graduates Constituency and South West Teachers’ Constituency are suitable candidates to respond to the voter’s problem.
He was speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on June 9, Saturday. He also said that both the congress candidates are talented and been responding to the people’s problem and are identified as social workers, hence they are suitable to be the people’s representative in the election to be held on June 10.
He also said that, the BJP candidates like DH Shankaramurthy and Captain Ganesh Karnik have been elected as the representatives for graduates and teachers constituency respectively, but their achievement is zero. They have completely failed in responding to the teacher’s problems.
During last election, they had assured graduates to provide allowance to the unemployed graduates, but it has not implemented even to the present day.
Even after having their own government, the BJP has not fulfilled the demands of teachers and made them to come on street to protest against them. Hence voters must cast their votes to the congress candidates to bring changes in the education.
KPCC members KH Abubakker, A Nonayya Poojary, Steevan D’Souza and Mohammed Volavoor were present at the press meet.
