Mangalore: In on address to the Congress workers at the city DKCC office today afternoon, the new KPCC Chief Dr. G. Parameshwara, pleaded for postponement of ZP-TP elections this year until the reservation issue is settled to the satisfaction of voting masses. Speaking to presspersons later repeated his demand in the interest of common people in a democracy.
On land scams committed by CM for his family members and partymen by denotification, Dr. G Parameshwar urged that Loakyukta should be free to do the enquiry and it was not advisable to entrust the probe to another Judge without LA’s consent. In this connection, he added that the politics played by CM tended to be hate filled and reeked of “Tit for Tat” variety of policy. He used secretaries and executives to tell his version on Congress / JD-S landscams in their day, Dr. GP lashed out. He pointed out that Lokayukta had over 30,000 cases on hand. CM wanted only JD(S) cases to be settled first, he said.
