Bangalore: Mysore Congress MP and former minister accused his own party colleague, DK Shivakumar (a protege of SM Krishna) of having secured all he could in Congress, and deserting it after his exploitations.
H.V, speaking to newsmen in city on Monday, was answering DK Shi’s charge made on Sunday in Mysore that H. Vishwanath had tried to cheat SM Krishna from getting the Union Minister’s post in Delhi in the past.
HV called DKS as having an unbalanced mind for this remark. He said Shivakumar spoke as if he did not belong to Congress. If DKS wanted to leave Congress, let him join the communal (BJP) party without strings, he (HV) joked.
DKS had accused Vishwanath on Sunday writing a book “Halli Hakki Hadu” to embarrass SM Krishna (now Union Minister), in a meeting of Vokkaligas called to honour those who had won ZP/TP elections from Mysore district, last Sunday. Vishwanath crossed swords with young DKS for his wily remarks, bringing SM Krishna in his contention.
