Mangalore : It is learnt that a Congress corporator was behind the act of JD(S) corporator Azeez Kudroli going to the court  challenging the reservation for Mayor of Mangalore

The matter even came up for discussion during a meet convened by District minister Ramanatha Rai to decide on the mayoral candidate. Rai during the meeting shocked everyone saying he was aware of the corporator who resorted to such a move and had colluded with the JD(S) corporator and said he need to be beaten with slippers.

Though the name of the corporator was not raised, it is an open secret and it is now left to be seen if the party would dare to act against the corporator who is said to be a close friend of former mayor Ashraf.
