Mangaluru: BJP National Spokesperson Sudesh Verma has alleged that the state Congress government has failed to make good use of the different grants released by the Centre.
Speaking to media men here on April 25, Wednesday, he said the state government has still not given details about the utilisation of the Rs 1,000 cores released by the Centre for the Minorities Development Corporation.
Even the grants released towards the Education and other sectors have failed to reach the last person in the society, he regretted.
The State minorities Development Corporation which used to receive a grant of Rs 22 crores in the past got Rs 910 crore during the Yeddyurappa regime. Similarly Haj Bhavan was also constructed at a cost of Rs 50 crore. But the Congress government is only making promises to minorities, he alleged.
He also expressed confidence that the BJP would win with a majority in the state.
