Mangaluru : The District Youth Congress Committee organised a jatha “Namma Nadige Brahmashree Narayana Guru Kadege” on January 18, Tuesday,

The jatha to be held upto the Kudroli Gokarnanatha Kshetra was inaugurated by senior party leader and former deputy chief minister G Parameshwar in front of the party office.

The protest held against the rejection of the Brahmashree Narayana Guru tableau of Kerala Government for the Republic Day parade.

District Youth Congress Chief Luqman Bantwal, former ministers Ramanatha Rai, MLA UT Khader, District Congress President Harish Kumar, District Mahila Congress President Shalet Pinto, party leaders Ivan D’Souza, P V Mohan and others were present.
