Mangalore : Former District Youth Congress president Bondala Jagannath Shetty has strongly condemned the attack on youngsters celebrating a birthday party at the Morning Mist Home Stay near Padil in Mangalore last Saturday. He described the incident as heinous wherein girls too were not spared.

On the comments made by Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Jagadish Karanth that Mangalore was becoming a sex hub,  Bondala said the local MLA Yogish Bhat was answerable to this statement.

He also demanded that the district administration took stern action against Karanth for his provocative statements.

He also alleged that the district minister CT Ravi was responsible for the delay in investigation. Bondala further pointed out that not even a single religious leader has condemned the attack.
