Speaking to reporters here, he also alleged that Modi’s popularity was on the decline. He also wanted to know why the total number of seats won by BJP in Gujarat has reduced this time.

Mangalore: Senior Congress leader VS Ugrappa has said that contrary to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s claims, there is 48 per cent malnutrition in Gujarat and electricity supply on alternate weeks.
Speaking to reporters here, he also alleged that Modi’s popularity was on the decline. He also wanted to know why the total number of seats won by BJP in Gujarat has reduced this time.
He said a fact-finding committee headed by him had exposed the ore bungling long before it was revealed by other sources. Still several BJP leaders had then tried to rubbish the claims, Ugrappa said.He also criticized the state government for failing to act as per the recommendations of the Lokayukta report on mining.
He said former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa will soon be known as Kalyan Singh of Karnataka and predicted that the KJP and BSR Congress parties will merge with the BJP after elections.
On Siddaramaiah’s remarks that Congress would withdraw the cow slaughter Bill after elections are over, he said there was no need for a separate law as the Cow Slaughter Law of 1964 was already in force.
