Mangalore : The District CPI organized the 21st district convention at Nehru Maidan on Dec 30, Friday.
Large number of CPI members participated in the rally held from Shanti Nilaya to Nehru Maidan.
Comrade P Sanjeeva, secretary of CPI DK and Udupi district committee presided over the convention.
Speaking after inaugurating the convention Com Dr Siddanagowda Patila, secretary of CPI state committee said that Congress party has no future in the country, since the people has lost hope over it with the black money secret.
He also said that today BJP is not following the principles of RSS and not considering it as their owner. Former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa at present he say that Yeddyurappa is BJP and BJP is Yeddyurappa.
He informed that today every political party must think what they have to do after coming into power. He said that no other party apart from CPI has moral values.
Criticizing Bajarangdal, he said that it has always created communal violence in the district and has made the international news with its cheep policies.
Today the BJP has looted Rs 16,000 crore and each day one MLA’s name is being revealed from the corruption list. BJP, VHP and Bajarandal must be ashamed of themselves for giving such inferior quality government to the public, he said.
Although present CM is hailing from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, he has not called a single meeting to discuss the developmental issue of labour class.
He said that Pejawar seer does not have the religious value, since he is been protecting Yeddyurappa and blessing him in spite of involving in corruption.
Com E Chandrashekhar, MLA of Kerala State and CPI secretary of Kerala, Com H VRai, secretary of AIBEA, Com B Amjad, secretary, CPI Chikmagalur and Com B Vishwanath Naik, senior CPI leader participated as the chief guest at the convention.
