Mangalore : Former minister and Chikmagalur MLA CT Ravi Congress party is running communal politics in the district and district in charge minister Ramanath Rai is responsible functioning Ravana Rajya in the district.

Speaking at a press meet held at the district BJP office on May 3, Saturday, he said that District Minister Ramanatha Rai is responsible for the many untoward incidents taken place in the district.

Ravi also said that congress is changing the district into terrorist destination; it is also known that a terrorist was a mastermind behind the Chennai train blast had boarded a train from Subrahmanya.

Commenting on the Kabeer shootout case, he said that State government which has announced the compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family of Kabeer who was killed by ANF at Shringeri, but they have failed to respond to the death of Swathi in the Chennai blast case and the recent gang rape of a minor from Bantwal and has not taken any measures to compensate their family.

Criticizing state minister Abhayachandra Jain said that instead of making the name for the developmental projects, the minister is involved in a controversy for allegedly threatening a journalist.

He also said that Ramanatha Rai of running a Ravana Rajya in the state, hence the BJP activists, will hold Ramanatha Rai Hatao campaign.
