Mangalore : A booth level convention of the Congress Seva Dal was held at the Town Hall in Mangalore on October 31, Wednesday on the occasion of the 28th death anniversary of former prime minister Indira Gandhi.
Vinaykumar Sorake, AICC Secretary, who addressed the gathering, said the former prime minister could bring about radical reforms in the nation and proved herself through her effective leadership. He said the Seva Dal aimed at selfless service.
He also stated that the Seva Dal had 54000 booths in Karnataka.
Former union minister B Janardhan Poojari, District Congress President B Ramanatha Rai, Mayor Gulag Banu, Ivan D’Souza, Suresh Ballal, Ashraf, UT Khader and several other party leaders were present.
