Mangalore : Former MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake said that on October 31, congress will observe the death anniversary of Indira Gandhi and in commemoration; the Congress Seva Dal will organize a Bhoot level convention at Town Hall On Oct 31 at 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.

He was speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Oct 26, Friday. He said that the convention will be basically held to strengthen the Seva Dal which has devoted itself for service.

He also said that one representative from each bhooth will be selected for the national level and there are over 1500 bhooth committee in the district and hence 1500 members will participate in the convention.

In state 54,000 such representatives will be selected. Congress leaders like AICC General Secretary B K Hariprasad, Corporate Affairs Minister  M Veerappa Moily, Former Union minister B Janardhana Poojary, in-charge of the state unit of the Karnataka Congress Seva Dal Pramod Pandey, MLC S R Patil and others will actively participate in the event.
