Poojary blamed the strategy and move of chief minister Siddaramaiah taken to solve various issues faced by the government and state. Criticising Prime Minister Naredra Modi on demonetisation, he said, prime minister failed to meet his promises made to the people while becoming the prime minister and on November 8 when he demonetisation of currency notes in denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 announced.
Supporting AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi, Poojari said, “Rahul Gandhi was right while criticising the prime minister over demonetisation as union government failed to solve the issues originated as a result of demonetisation even after 50 days.
Poojary attacked former Karnataka chief ministers DV Sadanand Gowda and Veerappa Moily on Yettinahole issue as both failed to raise issue properly. He urged both to come and speak in Uppinangadi on the issue. Answering to a question he said, he didn’t receive any notice from AICC for his indiscipline within the party.
