Mangaluru: Minister B Ramanatha Rai has informed that the Congress will be observing Black Day on November 8 which marks one year of the demonetization announced by the Union Government.

Addressing media here, Rai said,” It has been a year since the demonetisation of currency notes was introduced on November 8 last year. Congress representatives will hold a rally from Sullia to Madikeri, followed by a public meeting on that day. November 8 will be marked as black day across the nation,”

“The empty chairs during the Parivartana Rally of BJP Chief Amit Shah prove that people support the Congress led state government,” he added.
