Bangaluru: In spite of the fact that the state Congress had asked for elections in two phases, Karnataka Pradesha Congress Committee (KPCC) has respected the choice of leading the state Assembly decisions in a solitary phase on May 12.
Speaking to the journalist after Chief Election Commission’s (CEC) announcement here, KPCC President Dr. G Parameshwar stated, “We asked for polls in two phases, yet the CEC has chosen to lead it in a solitary phase. We were in power for the last five years. We have certainty of coming to power again alone on our strength.”
“We will announce the final list of candidates for every one of the 224 constituency by April 15,” Parameshwar said.
