Bantwal : State Forest Minister B Ramanatha Rai said that Congress has given tremendous contribution to the nation. Likewise if BJP takes birth hundred times, it cannot create a Congress-free nation.

Speaking at the Party’s Election Office at BC Road on Saturday April 12, Saturday, he said Congress governments which ruled the country have helped poor and youth to come into mainstream society. But Modi is restricted to Gujarat and any kind of election campaigning will make no difference, he said.

Rai also said that BJP government which had promised rice at Rs 2 per kg had never implemented it, however as per the promise, Congress government has offered rice at Rs 1 per kg.

He also urged the people to cast their vote in favour of DK candidate Janardhana Poojary for the development of the district.
