Kasaragod: “Demonetisation and a control over currency notes will support India to become one of the most powerful economies in the globe within a time span of two years. Economic growth moves down and tumbles in depression in the country where it is difficult to find the source of money and currency notes circulation,’’ opined renowed Orator, Yuva Brigade guide Chakravarthy Sulibele speaking in a cashless transaction campaign ‘Cashless Dunia,’ organised by Kasragod District Yuva Brigade Committee at Mulleria in Kasaragod district on Thursday.
Currency notes worth Rs 13 lakh crore remained uncirculated in the last 65 years and this has resulted socioeconomic imbalance in the country making poor into poorer, decline in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and others.
Speaking on the occasion Physician Dr Govinda Krishna said, a control over currency note is a brave step to build a bright future for India. TRK Bhat Perla, Manjunatha D Manya, business man BR Shenoy and other dignitaries took part in the campaign.
