Mangaluru:  Dakshina Kannada district reported Twenty-three new postive cases of coronavirus were reported, In Udupi  district  no new cases were detected on Tuesday June 9.

In 23 male patients, two are Maharashtra returnees, three have come from Dubai and 18 are Saudi returnees. 10 males, five females and a boy were discharged from Wenlock and  95 samples were sent for testing, 42 persons were admitted  for observation on Tuesday.

In Dakshina Kannada, 199 samples reports were received on Tuesday, out of which 23 tested positive and the 176 were negative and 39 samples are awaited. 96  cases are currently active. As many as 115 persons have recovered and been discharged.

A total 9,594 have tested negative, and 218 positive, including 10 persons from other districts.

Udupi

In Udupi district no fresh cases of Coronavirus reported on June 9. Total of 4,472 people have completed 28 days of quarantine, including 78 on Tuesday, and a total of 4,843 have completed 14 days of quarantine,  305 persons are currently in home quarantine and 185 people under institutional quarantine, 82 people are in isolation wards, eight fresh admissions Including three coronavirus suspects and four have SARI cases on Tuesday.

As many as 788 people, including seven have been discharged from isolation ward on Tuesday.
