Mangalore : Shri S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of Corporation Bank launched the Bank’s ‘Corp Excel’ Branch with a provision of ‘24×7 e-Lobby’ at Jeppu, Mangalore on 12th August 2014.

With a view to enhancing the customer convenience, the ‘Corp Excel’ branch has been aesthetically designed with the layouts demarcated between customer facing & operations work. The “24×7 e-Lobby” has self-service automation kiosks which include Cash Deposit Machine, Cheque Deposit Machine, Self-service Passbook printer and an ATM. The machines are user-friendly and can be used at ease by the customers.The layout of the branch also includes a convenient and simplified Queue Management System and sufficient customer waiting area.

The ‘Corp Excel’ branches have been rolled out by the Bank at various centres under ‘Project Sankalp’ – the Business Process Re-engineering exercise of the Bank. Corporation Bank plans to open 200 ‘Corp Excel’ branches having ‘e-Lobby’ facility across the country by December 2015.

Overall, across the country Corporation Bank has a network of over 9,000 functional units including 2,075 branches, 2,662 ATMs and 4,349 branchless banking units. The Bank has its Representative Offices in Dubai & Hong Kong to cater to the needs of NRI clients.

As always, keeping customer convenience and customer delight as guiding factors, the Bank has recently introduced a few customer-friendly products to meet the aspirations of GenNext and other segments.
