Mangalore  : In a press conference held at the Corporate Office of Corporation Bank in Mangalore its managing director S.R.Bansal, who is  Chairman of the Bank, revealed  that in the last  six months ending 30th September, 2013. The Bank had achieved a business profit of   Rs.664 Crores . The amount of total business done in all brunches and they Head Office reached 294,477 crores, which is much more than what the Bank had done in 2012 for six months .

The operating profit should at 664 crores. The total income for the Quarter [Q2] ended September 2013 grew by 17.28% and reached `4,773 crores.

During the current quarter, the Bank opened 44 Branches and 184 ATMs across the country.

The Mangalore based Corporation Bank in Padeshwara   has always made a name for itself by opening branches in rural area and serving thousands of its client year after year.
