Mangalore : In view of the counting of votes of the Mangalore City Corporation election, Mangalore Police Commissioner Manish Karbikar has informed that there would be diversion of vehicular traffic near the Rosario High School campus on March 11, Monday from 7 am onwards. It may be mentioned here that counting will be held at the School premises. Results will be available online on March 11 from 8 am on www.karsec.gov.in.
The traffic diversion rule will be effective till the counting ends. Sign boards will be put up and traffic police will be deployed to guide the motorists, the Commissioner informed.
The traffic diversion will be as follows :
1. Traffic will not be allowed from Hamilton Circle to Rosario.
2. Traffic will be restricted even from Pandeshwara Katte to Cozy Corner Apartment.
3. Vehicles proceeding towards Rosario from Hoigebazar have been directed to take to right near the Cozy Corner Apartment.
4. Vehicles heading towards Rosario from AB Shetty Circle will cross Nehru Circle and reach Mangaladevi.
5. Vehicles from Bunder area will have to take to right from Neereshwalya junction and proceed towards Goodshed.
