Kanyana: “When the people of a village praise the sacrifice done by anyone then only that sacrifice will be accepted by the god. When a village gets developed then only a country gets developed,” said Odiyuru Shree Gurudevadattha Samsthanam Seer Gurudevananda Swamiji.

He was addressing the gathering at Odiyuru Math on the occasion of his birthday celebration and ‘Gramothsava’.

“Traitors should be exiled from the country. We should stay awake by observing the developments at the border. When we do the introspection, then we can build a better country. We can plant a sapling on our each birthday. So, that we can save forests,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion Saadhvi Shree Maathanandamayi said that we should worship the principles of a man rather than worshiping a man.

“Earnestness and surrenderness helps us to achieve victory in our life. ‘Gramothsava’ gives us call to involve in social reforming activities,” she said.

MLA J R Lobo said that along with religional rituals, doing social reforming activities is a good thing. Gramothsava is the best example of it.
