Udupi: BJP activist Praveen Poojary murder accused were produced before the court on Friday. The court has remanded seven accused to the judicial custody till August 30.

Pradeep, Pradeepa, Umesh, Sudeep, Shikanth Kulal, Rajesh and Aravind Koteshwar were produced before the court.

Police have said that the remaining 10 accused will be produced before the court after the court hours.

Ramesh had approached Praveen to his vehicle on Wednesday. They were transporting calves. A group of 25 HJV activists attacked Praveen and Akshay, who was accompanying Praveen and dumped Preveen newar his house.

Later, Praveen was admitted to the hospital where he breathed his last.

Police immediately responded to the incident and arrested 17 activists in connection with the case.
