Bangalore: A court has imposed a Rs. 3,000 fine on nurse Jayalakshami, Big Boss fame, for allegedly attempting suicide when she got into a controversy with former minister Renukacharya, after almost six years.

It is reported that Jayalakshmi had taken sleeping pills to end her life at her residence in Yeshwanthapur, alleging harassment by Renukacharya. That was allegedly the second attempt made by Jayalakshmi to end her life. The first time, she had allegedly tried to end her life in her house in Kumarakrupa.

Yeshwanthapur police had registered a case of attempt to suicide against her and had filed a chargesheet.

Recently, the court had issued a notice telling her to attend the hearing. She had applied for bail through her advocates, citing a reason that the incident happened six years ago and that she was fine now.

The court asked Jayalakshmi to appear. She came to the First ACMM court in the afternoon. She was asked to pay Rs 3,000 fine and was asked to sit in the court hall till evening.
