Mangaluru : Two new Covid 19 cases confirmed from Dakshina Kannada on Friday May 1.

A 69-year-old man from Bantwal taluk (contact of patient 390) and a 62-year-old man from Boloor (contact of patient 536) have been admitted to the private hospital in Mangaluru have been confirmed with Covid 19 positive.

Dakshina Kannada till date 24 positive cases of coronavirus has been confirmed. This includes 3 deaths and 12 discharges.

Out of 24 cases, four are from Kerala and one each from Bhatkal and Udupi. Presently nine cases are active in the district.
