Sullia: Cattle theft has increased in and around Sullia Taluk. On February 20th, CCTV footage from Chenna keshva temple reveals theft of cattle from its doorsteps. Kukke Subhramanya has also witnessed such atrocity.

A similar attempt to rob cows from a temple was witnessed by devotees at a temple. When they confronted the thieves, the culprits brandished swords and gave death threats.

SI of Subramanya Police station said that, a woman had earlier filed a complaint regarding theft of cows from the doorsteps of a temple. Also a few associations have complained about the same. Henceforth, the police will be extra vigilant, he assured.
