Mangalore :  Veteran CPI leader and freedom fighter Late BV Kakkillaya was remembered at a condolence meeting arranged by the district unit of Communist Party of India on June 5, Tuesday.

KV Krishnan of Kerala State CPI Council, Siddanagouda Patil, member of the CPI national council, B. K. Krishnappa, CPI former district secretary and a host of leaders paid rich tributes to the departed leader on the occasion and hailed his contributions to the party in particular and society in general.
