Mangaluru: CPI Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district Secretary V Kukyan has alleged that the Central government has failed to control the prices of needy things.

He was addressing the protestors in front of DK CPI office on Wednesday. “The Central government has failed to control the increase in price and atrocities on Dalits,” he said.

“During election BJP assured to create 2 crore jobs every year and now it has forgotten its own promise. The state government is busy in increasing MLAs pay instead of labours,” he alleged.

CPI leaders V Sitaram Berinje, H V Rao, Karunakar Kulal, Shivappa Kotyan and others were present.
