Mangaluru: CPI(M) District Secretary Vasanth Achari warned to hold ‘Jail Bharo’ movemen on November 18 if the names of landless people are not included in the list.

He was addressing the protestors in a protest organised by Niveshana Rahitara Horata Samiti in front of DC office on Monday.

“Deputy Commissioner should interfere in the matter. Eligible people are purposefully excluded from the list. It is a big scam and the move of MCC in condemnable,” he said.

He further said that many of the eligible peoples’ names were taken out from the first list and all of a sudden 1500 new applications have been received from the government. District in-charge Minister and DC should look into this matter seriously. MCC is filled with corrupt people. Congress is known for corruption.

CPI(M) leaders Sunil Kumar Bajal, Krishnappa Konchadi, Yadav Shetty and others were present.
