Mangalore: The newly established Coastal wood Artists and Technicians Association Mangalore is organizing a Cricket Tournament for the players of Costal Film Industry under the title of Coastalwood Premier League from 4th to 8th April at Nehru Maidan Mangalore.

The players auction has been held at Forum Fizza Mall and Mr. Suhan Prasad, Arnald, Sandeep Bonde, SuhasRai, Sandy, GauthamKayya from A category, were sold out to the various fanchisees for the maximum price money of Rs.60000.00 each. Vignesh, Hafiz, KiranKadandale, Prasad, Ganesh, RakshithShetty, Keerthan B, NikhithKottari were purchased for the maximum prize of Rs.40000.00 each from B category of players. Krithik, Rajath, Harsha, SacchindraShetty, AshwathSetty, Dheeraj Puttur, Manoj, SandeepUppala, Kadandale, Rajesh Bandyod, PrashanthShetty, Viswas, Rizwan, ArunSurathkal, SandeepMadya, NishanthShetty, Jamal were purchased by the various teams by paying more than Rs.30000.00

Auction of IPL Style:
The Brand Vision Event Management team owned by theorganisers of Mangalore Premier League are shouldered the whole responsibility of conducting this tournament. Accordingly they organized this Auction process in a professional manner like IPL auction process. Mr. ManoharAmeen , Convener of Mangalore Zone inaugurated the process. Vijaya Kumara Kodial Bail and other Senior Artists were expressed their happiness during the occasion. Mr. Mohammed Sirajuddin was the Chief Controller of the process. Auction was called by Imthiaz Mohammed. Mr. Shivanarayana Aithal and Balakrishna Parkala were the Judges.

The tournament will be held as per the style of IPL, MPL. The participating eight teams are: Maravoor Panthers, Brand Vision Turskers, Kodialbail Challengers, KalkudeLions,Glitz Gladiators, Kadandale Tigers, Royal Rangers, Jugari Warriors.

Matches at Nehru Maidan:
All the matches will be held at Nehru Maidan from 9.00 a.m to 4.30 p.m from 4th to 8th April 2017. League matches will be played from 4th to 6th and qualifier matches will be held on 7th April. The Semi final and Final match will be held on 8th April 2017
