Mangalore: A North East regional (hill sates near Assam) Crafts Fair opened in wood lands Hotel backstage, organised by Union ministry for NER development, along with NE Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation LTD, at the hands of City MP, NalinKumar Kateel on march 7, Wednesday afternoon.

Around 150 craft persons (male/female) from 5 to 7 North Eastern Region states, Participated in bringing their culture to west coast in myriad color designs of eye-catching beauty in Various craft they handled.

These craftsmen (and women) displayed their products (Crafts and objects they make), and also gave live demonstrations of a few selected crafts at work.
