Mangalore : As there is a Cricket fever all over the country, the cricket fans have tried to render the support to the team India in their own way for the World Cup finals against Shri Lanka.
In Mangalore, the members of the Lahiri Group have sculpted images of the World Cup along with captions on the sand.
In Udupi, the students of Upadhya Skating Rink in Ambalpady organized a rollerskating show in udupi Car Street. Shiroor Mutt Seer Swami Laxmivarateertha flagged off the show.
He also said that, who announced that he will distribute 10,000 laddoos among the devotees if India won the match. Shiroor Mutt has also set aside Rs. 2 lakh for social welfare activities and Rs. 1 lakh will be earmarked for social work even if Shri Lanka gains victory.
Chief secretary of the District Nagarika Samithi Nithyananda Olakadu, Latavya Acharya, Jayashri Krishnaraj Malpe, Eshwar Shetty Chitpady and others were present.
