Speaking after inaugurating selection trials organised by the Fine Arts Association of the college at University College Mangaluru, she wished the students to showcase their talents at the intercollegiate level also.
Student Association Deputy Director Dr. Harish A, Coordinator of Fine Arts Association Meenakshi M, Student Union President Dheeraj, Joint-Secretary Ankita S, Fine Arts Association Secretary Aparna S. Shetty, Joint-Secretary Kavya N. K were present on the occasion. Computer Science Department Associate Professor Dr. Bharathi Pilar mastered the ceremony.
Cultural glory
Hundreds of students unleashed their talents at the simultaneous talent show at the Dr. Shivarama Karantha Sabhabhavana and Ravindra Kalabhavana. There was heavy competition in both individual and group segments. There were competitions in 12 categories, including classical, eastern, folk, dance, vocal, western music etc. Many performances in group dance and skit sections caught the attention of onlookers.
Top three competitors will be rewarded with a prize on the occasion of talents day, and these contestants will have the opportunity to compete in intercollegiate competitions.
