Mangaluru: The Customs officials arrested two persons for smuggling 1240 gram gold from Dubai on Thursday morning in Mangaluru international airport. The two accused, Deepak Indardas Sidwani and Nirmal Das hide the precious metal in their anus to smuggle it into the country.

The officials questioned the duo on a suspicion and found 1240 gram gold hidden in their body. The accused kept the metal in condoms to hide the same in their respective anus to sale the yellow metal in Indian market. The customs department interrogating the two and further details are yet to be known.
