Mangaluru : The officers of customs at Mangalore International Airport seized 464.800 gms on Monday, June 1.

The seized gold was brought in the form of silver paint-coated suitcase handle buckle holders and button shaped objects brought in a stroller suitcase carried as accompanied baggage by a passenger, who arrived from Abu Dhabi.

The passenger identified as Ubaid Bare Hussainar, a resident of Mangad, Kasargod, who arrived at Mangalore International Airport on Monday by Jet Airways flight 9W501.

Further investigation is under progress.
