Bangalore : Customs officials arrested a passenger and recovered 450 gm of gold from an Emirates flight from Dubai at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Sep 26, Thursday morning.

It is learnt that the unidentified passenger had concealed four gold biscuits of 10 tolas each hidden under the seat of the flight landed at KIA at 9 am.

The airline crew spotted the gold hidden in under the seat after all the passengers alighted and later informed Customs officials. The senior officials are further conducting the investigation to track down the passenger carrying the gold.

Recently, officials had seized gold 4 kg gold from a Mysore resident on September 12 who had concealed it in three emergency lights.
