Mangaluru : The officers of Customs at Mangalore International Airport seized 140.900 grams of gold on 09.11.2014, valued at Rs.3,69,158/-, in the form of cut pieces of a gold bar concealed in the Microwave oven motor carried by the passenger, who arrived from Dubai. 

The passenger Shri. Shanid Angillath, aged about 23 years, is a resident of Angillath, P.O., Thaikadappuram, Kasargod-671314, Kerala, who arrived at Mangalore International Airport on 09.11.2014 at about 17.25 hrs by Air India Express flight IX 384 from Dubai. Further investigation is under progress.
