Mangalore : After a gap of several months, the hearing into the Cyanide Mohan serial murder case began at the Fourth Additional Court of Mangalore. The hearing earlier remained suspended eve since the retirement of the fast track court judge who was hearing the case.
Cyanide Mohan had killed as many as 20 young women from DK as well as Hassan, Mysore, Kasargod, Madikeri and Bangalore. He had lured even women from Puttur, Mangalore, Belthangady, Bantwal, and Sullia and Moodbidri.
His modus operandi was to lure young women, befriend them promise to marry them, elope with them, have sex with them and then kill them by giving them cyanide pills after making them believe that it was contraceptive.
Mohan was arrested four years ago.
