Kaup: The mortal remains of a man was found in the beach behind the government higher primary school at Kaup Padu on Tuesday, September 21 evening.

The deceased is Santhosh Poojary (40),  he owned a bicycle shop in Hejamady downtown.

It is said, he was washed away in the sea at Hejamady.

The locals had got information that a body was floating in the sea.

Local resident and driver of Kaup municipality, Nitesh Kumar, retrieved the body and shifted to the mortuary at Udupi.
