New Delhi : The UP minister Awadh Pal Singh has resigned his post in UP, after being named in a corruption case on Tuesday, by Lokayukta of UP. The resignation came on Wednesday, Aug 17.
The Dairy development minister Awadhpal has been held under three laws of Prevention of corruption, Abolition of Zamindari (landlordship) and Land Reforms Act in force.
Justice N.K. Mehrotra recommended Singh’s removal on Tuesday. Yadav has 3 murder cases on his belt. The cases refer to 2007 and later period.
But Uttar Pradesh Police were playing inactive roles, refusing to collect more information against Awadh pal’s activities in legally recorded cases. Judge Mehrotra was in favour of and independent investigating body to clear the case.
Awadhpal singh yadav opened 250 veterinary hospitals all over UP state. 32 clinics were sanctioned. About 13 veterinary buildings were assigned to yadav’s son, without calling tenders properly, said those who went in appeal to UP Lokayukta for redressal Yadav’s head has rolled in a day.
