Mangaluru:  Dakshina Kannada based four youths who moved to New Delhi to purchase gym tools reportedly kidnapped, robbed and finally released by an unidentified gang at an unknown location in the national capital. The youths lost their costly cell phones, valuables, cash, bank balance, debit, credit cards in the incident.

The victims have been identified as Kadaba based Krishna Prasad, Dinesh from Uppala, Kalladka resident Prashanth and Valal based Abhilash. The four youths moved to New Delhi last Sunday by a flight and later abducted in the national capital for cash.

The gang forced the youths to ask their relatives and friends to deposit Rs 3 lakh cash to their bank accounts. Following continues calls by Krishna Prasad asking Rs 3 lak cash, his friends in Karnataka deposited the amount to his bank account. Soon after obtaining the cash from the bank account, the culprits abandoned the four at an unknown street in New Delhi providing Rs 2, 000 cash and an old mobile phone. One of the victims, Krishna Prasad is an IT employee in Bengaluru.
