Mangalore: A day’s national conference on Developing Global Mindset was held on Monday at SDM PG Centre for management studies and research, preparing youths for world challenges in a modern context.

Corporation Bank CMD, Ajay Kumar in his inaugural address, spoke on transformations needed in highly competitive conditions. He added that not only youths, but the whole had to change for the better.

He spoke about today’s knowledge becoming tomorrow’s ignorance. Students have to update their information on subjects of concern, like economics, in their field.

The population here in India is quite young and will be flaming or fuelling the competitive atmosphere for another 30 years.

Several learned dignitaries were present, from Banks and the SDM College. Student sat in rapt attention.
