Mangaluru: ‘Alva’s Samskrithika Vaibhava’ was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Dr K G Jagadeesh organised by Alva’s Nudisiri Virasat Managaluru unit on Sunday at Bunts Hostel.

The programme presided over Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathr Sangha President Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi.

Nearly 350 students of Alva’s educational foundation performed the traditional dances of India and other countries. The programme began with Mohiniyattam dance of Kerala.

MLA J R Lobo, Chief Whip Ivan D’Souza, Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy president B M Haneef, Dr Chinnappa Gowda, Kripa Alva and others were present.
