Mangaluru  : The district administration should deny permission for ladies’ bar live bands which are running in the city and also withdraw permission for the existing ones said  VHP district president Jagadish Shenava on Tuesday.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal  strongly opposing the ladies’ bar live bands in Mangalore.  Mangaluru is a tradition and culture city. Now a days we are so following the western culture, we have rich culture here. We must celebrate it, he added.

District administration had given permission ladies bar live band at Saibeen Complex in Lalbagh and also that a new one is in Pumpwell.

The district administration not to permit such uncultured things in Mangaluru. If not withdrawn the permission VHP will stage a strong protest and will conduct raids in Mangaluru’ he said.

VHP district convenor Pradeep Pumpwell, Praveen Kuthar and others were present.
