Mangalore : DC Harsha Gupta released a Mime show Cd on election polling, as a part of Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme on April 6, Saturday.

The mime show was directed by Mime Ramdas, chief of Spandana TV and director of Abhinava Mangalore. The mime show of 9 minutes duration has been enacted by Suman, Vineeth and Rahul.

Speaking on the occasion, DC said that the mime Cd will create awareness among the voters to franchise their votes and fulfill their rights by giving 100% in the coming election.

Later DC distributed the Cd copy to various public service departments to telecast and create awareness among the general public in public places.

ZP CEO Dr K N Vijayaprakash said that under the leadership of DC various programmes to give legal education on election are being taking place.

He said that so far district has been receiving around 74% to 75% votes, hence the district administration is making an effort to get more votes and the process of creating awareness will go on till election, he said.

MCC Commissioner Harish Kumar, ASI Gopalkrishna Bhat, KSRTC Regional Controller Mahesh, Mime Ramdas and others were present.
