Mangalore :  Discussing the matter on road safety issues DK Deputy Commissioner Subhod Yadav ordered to remove the  unnecessary road humps in the city as well as in the rural areas of the district.
He also requested the officials to use appropriate colours for scientifically constructed humps and display transport signs compulsorily on the roads in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
The authorities and management of the Government, private and charitable schools must avoid parking their school vehicles outside the campus which causes inconvenience to the public.
The potholes on state and national highways, and the areas where there is heavy traffic, must be closed at the earliest.
He also instructed the office bearers of private bus owners association to implement GPS Speed Controllers as a mandatory measure to check on-road .
