Mangalore : District Congress Committee members paid their tribute to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi  on  his,  66th death anniversary at Gandhi Park in Town Hall on January 30, Thursday.

Every one need follow Gandhi ‘s  philosophy, to remember Mahatma said, Ibrahim Kodijal acting president of the District Congress party.

He said that, every individual has the spiritual rights and right to converse.  He took so much effort to put up party, and has inspired many leaders to initiate developmental work.

Dignitaries on the occasion garlanded the flowers to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi.

Ivan D’Souza, secretary, KPCC, Shashidhar Hegde, corporator, Balaraj Rai, Nazir Bajal, Sadashiv Ullal, Suresh Shetty, Divakar, Kripa Alva, Padmanabha Naringana, Hasanabba, Bharahti, Jayakar and Congress leaders were present on the occasion.
