Mangalore : The 127th Founder’s Day of the Congress Party was observed by the District Congress Committee at the party office in Mangalore on December 28, Friday.

Mayor Gulzar Banu hoisted the party flag.

District Congress Committee President  Ramanatha Rai addressed the party workers and leaders at a function held in this connection at the party office. Speaking on the occasion, he said the party  since its inception has been striving to better the conditions of the poor and the weaker sections of the society.

Several party leaders including Ivan D’Souza, Naveen Bhandari, Suresh Ballal were present.
