Udupi : The DCIB has successfully nabbed four accused in regard with the murder attempt of Pitty Nagesh of Kukkikatte on August 2, Monday.The arrested are identified as Gururaj Poojary of Indrali, Guruprasad Shetty of Alevoor, Mohammed Razin of Kanchinadka, and Pachu alias Prashanth of Alake.

The arrested four are the associates of Vinod Shettigar, who is a rival team of Pitty Nagesh. The police nabbed the four at Mangala Stadium, before they surrender themselves.
The car driver Irshad of Kanchinadka and Vinod Shettigar are absconding and the police have launched a manhunt for them.
DCIB Inspector Ganesh Hegde and police personnels like Damodar, Narayan, Sathish Ballal, Rathnakar, Mahabala Shetty, Dinesh Shetty, Vaman, Udaya Kundar, Manohar Udyavara, and Abdul Khader worked on the case under the guidance of superintendent of police and additional superintendent of police.
