Mangaluru: Public of Dakhsina Kannada district have shared their grievances to the DCP Shantharaju through phone-in programme on Friday. DCP Shantharaju attended the phone calls and received the complaints of the public.

A man said that the meter interest business is still running in Mangaluru and Puttur. They are charging Rs 1000 interest for Rs 10,000. DCP Shantharaju suggested to file a complaint with evidences to the nearest police station.

Complaints of violating traffic rules such as installation of LED bulbs in cars and bikes, additional charge from auto drivers and others were recorded from the cops. Public requested to stick stickers to the barricades that were kept in sides of the road.

Shantharaju said that the campaign against traffic rule violation has been started and it will be continued throughout the district.
